coveted and far too few. i have a day off. i begin by drinking all the coffee i want. put in a load of laundry in the washer ( i plan on finishing the laundry for the week, today). at noon i am going to the park with a friend and the boys. the kids will ride their bikes and we will drink mate. mmmmmmm, mate. i really want a camera. i bought a crock pot. i will probably use it today. it is so sunny outside and i feel happy.
most genius lyrics: 'you look a little like coffee and taste a little like me'
tonights' dinner: hilachas con papas y arroz
today's chore: laundry & sweeping- i would really like to garden but don't have one-
i must remember to go to the bank.

I like doing the laundry, takes some stress off and I use the in-between time to read some.
Mate tastes great too. Unfortunately I depend on friends coming back from Argentina to get decent some.
Beautiful days are so in or outdoors. Love better outdoors.
Ever thought of setting up a few nice plants in home?
Cheers.
foosuh- i have added a picture to my blog, for you, to see what hilachas are- they came out mediocre.
rodrigo-one of my big plans for this year is to add plants and sustain them indoors, for at least one year. i am still afraid of such a big commitment.
none the less, thank you both for posting :)
We´re used to call them ¨carne deshebrada¨. An -hebra- being a string, so you have those juicy strings of beef.
You can always choose low-mantainence, little demanding plants. Need not to fill your home with desert plants though.
Where´s miedosa from?
That's a great story. Waiting for more. » » »
